Creating Deals

Deal records can be added to SparrowCRM manually or through bulk imports. Each deal represents a sales opportunity and is typically associated with a contact, company, or both.

Create Deals Manually

To create a deal manually:

  1. Navigate to Deals.
  2. Click + New Deal.
  3. Enter the deal details.
  4. Click Create Deal.

The deal record is immediately added to the workspace and appears in the pipeline.

Use Deal Templates

Deal templates help standardize the information collected during deal creation by defining which fields appear and which are required.

Templates can be configured in Deal Settings to require fields such as:

  • Deal name
  • Deal value
  • Pipeline and stage
  • Expected close date
  • Associated company

Templates help maintain consistent data quality and ensure every new deal has the essential information teams need to work it effectively.

Create Multiple Deals

Enable the Create More toggle to continue adding deals without closing the creation window. This is useful when entering several opportunities in a single session.

Create Deals Through Imports

Existing deal data can be imported into SparrowCRM in bulk by uploading a CSV file and mapping file columns to the appropriate CRM fields.

For detailed import instructions, field mapping, and troubleshooting, see Imports & Migration.

SparrowCRM supports manual and bulk creation methods for deal records. Choosing the right approach depends on whether you are entering individual opportunities or migrating an existing pipeline.
