Creating Companies
Company records can be added to SparrowCRM manually or created automatically through imports, integrations, email sync, and other connected workflows. Regardless of how a company enters the CRM, SparrowCRM uses the company domain as the primary identifier to prevent duplicates and maintain a clean, organized database.
Create Companies Manually
To create a company manually:
- Navigate to Companies.
- Click + New Company.
- Enter the company details.
- Click Create Company.
The company record is immediately added to the workspace and becomes available across the CRM.
Use Company Templates
Company templates help standardize the information collected during record creation by defining which fields appear and which are required.
Templates can be configured to require fields such as:
- Domain
- Industry
- Headquarters
- Employee range
- Annual revenue
Templates are managed in Company Settings and help maintain consistent data quality across the workspace.
Create Multiple Companies
Enable the Create More toggle to continue adding companies without closing the creation window. This is useful when entering several organizations in a single session.
Create Companies Through Imports
Existing company data can be imported into SparrowCRM in bulk by uploading a CSV file and mapping file columns to the appropriate CRM fields.
SparrowCRM uses company domain as the unique identifier when matching records during import, helping prevent duplicate company entries.

Create Companies Automatically
SparrowCRM can create company records automatically as organizations interact with a business through different channels.
Email Sync
When a Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 inbox is connected, SparrowCRM detects the domains of email participants and automatically creates company records for organizations that don't already exist in the CRM.
Smart Router
When a prospect books a meeting through a scheduling link, the Smart Router checks the company domain. If the organization isn't already in the system, a new company record is created automatically.
Integrations
Connected applications like Slack, LinkedIn, and other tools can flow organizational data directly into the CRM, creating company records as new information enters the sales process.
Create Companies Through API
Company records can be created programmatically using the SparrowCRM API, enabling teams to sync company data from websites, forms, internal systems, and custom applications.
